So I read this on IMDB about 5 minutes ago:
Crew or equipment visible: At the end of the movie when Jack Sparrow says "On deck, you scabrous dogs", there is a pirate on the left side of Jack. Behind him you can clearly see a man in a white t-shirt, hat and sun glasses.
This is about the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" and I thought to myself... No way I wouldn't of seen that. So I popped in the movie and check this out.
Isn't that great? Where did this guy come from?

Rice: Security Council Should Press Iran

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) - There is no need for the U.N. Security Council to delay taking up the question of Iran's disputed nuclear program, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Friday as she all but dismissed a Russian proposal for more talks.
Russia suggested additional discussions about Iran as the five permanent members of the U.N. Security Council considered a statement Friday aimed at pressuring Tehran to clarify whether it is trying to build atomic weapons. Rice was skeptical about the Russian idea, saying it was time for tough action after three years of failed negotiations.
``I'm always happy to meet with my colleagues, but I think we know what we need to do now,'' Rice said.
Aboard her plane en route to the weekend inauguration of Chile's first woman president, Rice said the United States, Russia and other permanent security council members already agreed last month that a security council review would be the next step.
``I think it is time,'' Rice said. ``I think what is ahead of us now is pretty clear and that is that the security council needs to be able to take this up.''
The security council has the power to impose economic or other sanctions on Iran, though there is little movement - or support - for doing so quickly.
Russia has suggested a new round of talks involving Moscow, the United States, China, France, Germany, Britain and the International Atomic Energy Agency.
``We all have to get together again to collectively find a new consensus regarding our strategy at the current stage,'' Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with Russian state television broadcast Thursday.
Rice also signaled that she wants to soften a hardline stance against participation by other countries in a new world court. The Hague-based International Criminal Court was set up in 2002 to hunt down perpetrators of genocide and other crimes against humanity.
The Bush administration and many conservatives in Congress have long opposed it, saying it might be used by hostile countries to prosecute U.S. troops. By law, nations that ratify the ICC treaty without also agreeing to an exemption for U.S. citizens can lose U.S. military aid.
Twelve nations in Latin America have lost U.S. aid and training because of their ICC stance.
Rice plans to attend Saturday's inauguration in Valparaiso of Chilean President-elect Michelle Bachelet, a pediatrician who is the first Latin American woman to be elected president without a powerful husband.
Rice will hold a closely watched first meeting with Bolivian President Evo Morales, one of a string of leftist politicians to win recent democratic elections on the continent.
The Bolivian president is expected to come to the meeting with the mild anti-American stance he campaigned on. He jokingly mispronounced Rice's first name before his election in January, calling her ``Condolencia,'' - Spanish for condolences - and made headlines with his remark that his election would be a nightmare for the United States.

LOS ANGELES—Working with evangelical Christian organizations such as Focus on the Family, the Motion Picture Association of America has developed a movie-rating system based on the laws of the Old Testament. "There was some concern that our existing system was neither strict nor specific enought," MPAA President Dan Glickman said. "Hence, such improved ratings as B-M21 [Blasphemy Only To Be Viewed By Males Over 21] for Finding Nemo, as it was only given to Adam to name the animals." The new ratings system will be instituted around Easter, at which time all producers of movies formerly rated NC-17 will be burned at the stake, their fields sown with salt, and their names cursed unto the ninth generation.

Normaly this is my day off. But as you can see am a at work. Why would you ask am I working on a day that I normally have off? Well you see I blame school. Anyway its really strange being here cuz the people I'm used to working with are all gone. Even better my boss isnt around so I have lots of time to goof off. Anywho it seems my days are getting more depressing. I really need to get out more. I hope spring gets here soon so I can shrug off the winter blues and get a new place to live. And a dog. And a new computer. And a directing gig. And a million dollers. And no more worries... or laundry... Blegh do I hate it, dirty clothes never stop! All around me! I demand that this crazyness stops! NO MORE CLOTHES. I want to be rich so I only have to buy clothes and then give them away after one day of use.

Which Firefly character are you?

And here we have some great Jane quotes:
----------------------------------------
Jayne: [into radio] Testing. Captain, can you hear me?
Mal: I'm standing right here.
Jayne: [into radio] You're coming in good and loud, too.
Mal: 'Cause I'm standing right here.
----------------------------------------
Jayne: You know what the chain of command is? It's the chain I go get and beat you with until you understand who's in ruttin' command here. Now we're finishing this deal, and then maybe maybe we'll come back for those morons who got themselves caught.
[Starts breathing heavily]
Jayne: You can't change that by getting all...
[His voice slows]
Jayne: ... bendy.
Wash: [not understanding the bendy thing] All what?
Jayne: [obviously drugged] You've got the light... from the console... keep you, lift you up. They shine like...
[tries to catch the light in his hands]
Jayne: ... little angels...
[Jayne collapses with a thud. The crew just stares]
Wash: Did he just go crazy and fall asleep?
Simon: I told him to sit down.
----------------------------------------
Jayne: Time for some thrilling heroics.
----------------------------------------
Mal: Can't get paid if you're dead.
Jayne: Can't get paid if you crawl away like a bitty little bug neither. I got a share of this job. Ten percent of nothin' is, let me do the math here... nothin' and a nothin', carry the nothin'...

I am so damn tired. I feel like I spend more time in my car then I do in my bed. Which is pissing me off. I mean don't get me wrong, I like my new car and everything but man, I haven't taken a breather for a few days. You know what they say.
I got to interview the guy named Ron Jones. He has made music for Family Guy and Magmum PI, oh and Duck Tales. He was a really cool guy and has bought lots of shit for my school. I asked him to give us a short run down of why he loves CCC. And when he got going he didn't stop talking for ten minutes. What about shore dosent this guy get?
But that was cool, like I said he was a really nice guy. He talked to me about indie film making and some of the stuff he has done. It was really cool to talk to someone who really works in the field.
Also my brodcast and journalism class has started. What fun that will be, I met this guy who is a real cinematographer and has tons of his own equitment.
When Mindy gets home I'm going to give her a big hug, and then kick her for being away for so long. The errends are killing me...

The Prius is gone...
Yes, we had to get rid of 'her'. She was just too needy, wanted money all the time for stuff she didn't even need! Oh well, a Kia Reo has repaced the Prius and at least its a stick so I can have a little fun driving. The real fun will come from teaching Mindy how to drive one. It will be good times, I'm sure of it... Or I will go insane. Mindy said and I quote, "After teaching me to drive a stick only one of us will be alive." Hmm.
On the bright side our payments are down and the Kia has a kick ass stereo system. I will be bumpin all the way to Hillsburo.
That is all

So the new term starts, and I don't a one class to go to. I have two cool film internships but I don't know what I will be doing or how much of it I will have time to do. I really need to start filming something again. It seems like so long since I had something fun to worry over.
Noah, if you are reading this, your house was really cool and I had a good time at new years its just that hanging out with a bunch of under 21 year olds has this effect on me. That effect beeing me put in jail if the cops came. Don't get me wrong I dont have any problem with you are your friends drinking it was just that other parties didn't have such... me jailed issues. So yeah, we will have to do that again some time. And at that time I will cook, and we shall feast. And all will be well.
You know, other film makers had full fetures that made money in the theaters by my age..... All I have are shorts, and a community college. Woe is me.

![]() | You scored as Captain Jack Sparrow. Roguish,quick-witted, and incredibly lucky, Jack Sparrow is a pirate who sometimes ends up being a hero, against his better judgement. Captain Jack looks out for #1, but he can be counted on (usually) to do the right thing. He has an incredibly persuasive tongue, a mind that borders on genius or insanity, and an incredible talent for getting into trouble and getting out of it. Maybe its brains, maybe its genius, or maybe its just plain luck. Or maybe a mixture of all three.

So I just emailed this film guy from PSU about a film major he is creating for the school, this is what he emails me back...
--
Dear Dan:
We're working on it, but it'll still be a while before we have a major. Right now, you can get a minor in film studies and take production courses at the Northwest Film Center (right across the Park Blocks from PSU). Almost all courses taken at the film center count for PSU credit.
Let me know if you need more information. As luck would have it, I'm teaching in France right now (they just burned some cars down the street from me), so I can't promise that I'll get back to you immediately. Give me a seven day window.
Sincerely,
Michael Clark
--
Cars on fire? France? What the hell? Will this guy be alive in seven days?!?! I wished him well but in reality it looks like some crazy car burning french person is going to kill my only chance at getting a film major from PSU.
Strange...
In other news Mindy and I went on the PDX Zombie Walk a few weeks ago, and I guess I put the whole thing in danger by smearing fake blood all over a sign... How lame is that!? I can't do anything fun! So I had to say I was sorry over some Zombie forums and I felt like a jerk for like 2 hours.

Don't ask about the name, we needed one, and I just tossed it out there. Anywho, the first meeting will be at Red Robin (Fine dining) in greshem station. Thats just up Division from my house. It will be at 5:30 and all we will do is say hi to everyone, talk about the project and eat free fries that come with our burgers. The only real biz to get done is talk about possable pre-location scounting and such. Bring lots of questions.
We WILL have a budget on this movie. I'm not going to say what yet but Mindy and I are putting in our share. I will prolly make up a list of things to talk about but really this will just be an open forum to all topics including what people are going to be doing on the project and such.
I hope you all can make it and I can't wait to see you all at the meeting!

The 48hfp is the weekend of Aug. 5th and whoever wants to help this year is welcome. This year is gunna be great, Noah and I have already been collecting equitment and talking about the film crew. This year the crew itself is going to be a lot smaller then last year, like 6 people I'm thinkin. This will cut down on confusion and miscommunication. yay. So anyway if you wanna help out on the project this year just give me a yell!

Man, I am so bored... Which it stupid because I have so much to do. I would like to take this time to say I'm sorry to all my friends who I have stonewalled in the last few months. I have been really busy trying not to be busy. So yeah, I'm sorry.
Also. I have been making movies.. I am getting better, perhaps this summer the crew and I can put something really great together.
The other day I was sitting around thinking about Episode 3, it comes out May 19th. This made me think of Episode 1. I was so excited, and it was six years ago. So much has changed since then, but in the time between episode 2 and 3 have been the best. That's right, I just put my life in terms of StarWars moives, and I liked it... Anyway, I remember going to the premeire of episode 1 and playing with plastic lightsabres with my buddy brandon. We had a whole act worked out, I was the one who died in the end, oh well... By the time episode 2 came out Brandon was in the military and a few months after that he died. Strange.
Now I am married and am doing well in college and working at my moive talents.
Funny how things work out, I don't know what I will do now that there are no more StarWars moives... Perhaps I will get big and make one for myself. And it will be good, not like the recent ones!
